Spring 2008: Bid on Your State Officers to Aid the American Cancer Society

The national TSA service project is helping the American Cancer Society raise funds for their pursuit to develop a cure for cancer. In order to continue pervious efforts, the NCTSA state officers are once again holding a State Officer Auction!

This auction, which will be held
during the third general session
of the state conference, will give you the chance to bid on all nine of your state officers while helping raise money for the ACS. Your contributions will provide you with irreplaceable rewards: Valuable time with your favorite state officer and the ability to say that you are doing something to help cure cancer!

The auction will work like this: in exchange for donations, the chapter that raises the most money will
have priority in choosing the
state officer of their choice.
The chapter that raises the
second largest amount will
have second choice, and so
on. The chosen state officer
will escort their benefactorchapters
to the mixer on that night. This is one of the few opportunities for your entire chapter to earn recognition for their donation and have a guaranteed date to the mixer! The bidding will take place after the voting during the third general session, so begin raising money for the cause now!
