2010 SERVICE PROJECT:
American Cancer Society

What is the ACS? ACS (American
Cancer Society) is an association that is dedicated to Cancer research. It is also focused on trying to help find a cure for people that are affected by it. Their main goal is to save lives. As a service organization, TSA has traditionally worked with the American Cancer Society and we as a state officer team have decided to continue this tradition for the 2009-2010 year.

This year we have chosen to challenge all of the participating
schools to team up with a local Relay for Life chapter or a
similarly affiliated organization
in order to raise funds for the
American Cancer Society.

We will also have a chance for chapters to donate money on site at
the NC TSA State Conference
in Greensboro. Any TSA chapter that helps raise money will be recognized at the state conference and the top three money raising chapters will be recognized.
